Life without power
I love winter. However, there was a great storm that passed through here and left me without power or cable. We lost power on Thursday night (as did most everyone else) and it didn't return until 6 days later. I don't know how my sis does it. I slept on an air matress in the living room, trying to stay warm. On the 10th day, we finally got our cable back. I have missed sooo many shows!! All I keep thinking is how she deals with this on a regular basis and I I'm sorry... I'ts so not fun!

Hey Sis,
Sorry to hear about the power outage. I'm grateful for your empathy, but I will say that we are a bit more prepared for that type of living here (i.e. gas stoves, heaters, lanterns, etc.). I think it would be even more difficult to do without over there!
Way to go! Now you are ready for Survivor! ;)
