The Official Start of Summer

Most people are probably thinking this is going to be about swimming, boating, wearing flip-flops etc. (of which all are great, don't get me wrong), but my season of great television has come to an official close. I'll try and briefly re-cap some of my faves:

Amazing Race: Although I had a pretty good idea of who had won by the time I finally got to watch it, I was soooo happy. I honestly think this is the first time the couple I wanted to win from day 1 actually did win. However, Brad and I still were watching it wondering how in the world they were going to pull ahead and win. Great "on the edge of our seats" action. I cried. LOL... like that should surprise anyone.

Survivor: I am furious with Ian. I wanted him to win so badly. Why in the world did he stand on the stupid little round disk for almost 15 hours just to give his spot away to Katie!! Needless to say I was never ever a fan of her. I was kinda happy the jury managed to tell her more than once that her "game plan" of making alliances with strong people is not "Outwitting" the rest of the people. Did she really think she had a chance against Tom??? Oh well. I figured from early on Tom would win.

Apprentice: They really need to find a way to make the last cut shorter. An hour's episode was not necessary. Though it wasn't as lame as last season's 2 hour finale. But honestly, Tana and her crowd cheering really got annoying. A better last episode would have been for camera's to be on her while she is watching her do the final task (poorly) and then bragging about it. I would have liked to have seen her face as she realizes she is the only one who thinks she is doing a good job. Oh, and I heard that the "Apprentice" has a windowless office next to Trump's wife's assistant and they don't really do much of anything. Though I guess I would be ok with all of that if I was making $250k a year too.

So that pretty much wraps up my reality show season. Now I can concentrate on work, softball, baseball and weddings.

Note to all: i watched Chaotic, the Brittany and Kevin reality show. Horrible. Do not torture yourselves. Even I couldn't stand it. Now that is bad.
