Third Time is a Charm

So it's the 3rd time we have had World Series tickets. And finally we are going to see a game, or so we thought. Game 4, we got there around 6:30pm to just stand around in the rain until 9:30 when they finally called the game b/c of the weather. However, its all good.

Tomorrow night, our beloved Cardinals will play game 5. My scarf, hat, gloves, long underwear, three layers of shirts and Cardinal beads are ready. Come rain or snow.... I really hope they play and finally we will not only see a World Series Game, but also see THE WINNING WORLD SERIES GAME FOR THE CARDINALS!!!!

Sea of Red

I know I'm incredibly blessed with my life. I have a great husband and 2 wonderful girls (my dogs of course!). I just got back from an amazing trip to the Grand Caymans where I got to snorkel, sleep in, and swim with the stringrays---yes, swim with about 10 of them actually touching me, I even held one and lived to tell about it!

Then I come back to dreary St.Louis (will the sun ever come back?) and the Cards are playing. I love post-season with the Cards, they always keep things interesting. Well today was a great Wednesday morning... just found out I won the opportunity to purchase World Series Tickets!

I'm so excited, but I've been down this path before. Two years ago, we had tickets to see game 5 agains the Red Sox, well, we all know how that panned out. I know my boys won't disappoint me this time!

I haven't worn anything besides my Cardinal shirts since I've gotten back from the Grand Caymans and although I'm not really superstitious, I think I'll let my sweaters sit for just a few more days....
